NervAlign® Nerve Cuff

The NervAlign® Nerve Cuff is a decellularized porcine pericardium membrane designed to provide non-constricting protection for peripheral nerve repairs.

Its ultra-thin, pliable construction allows it to be easily trimmed and affixed intraoperatively, conforming to the repair site without restricting the nerve.

Key Features

The Critical Difference

The NervAlign Nerve Cuff is manufactured using the eCOO® method – a proprietary advanced manufacturing process for cleaning and decellularizing tissue. The eCOO® method removes unwanted immunogenic material using supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). *

Beyond Gas, Beyond Liquid

When heated and pressurized beyond its critical point, carbon dioxide becomes a supercritical fluid which diffuses like a gas and cleans like a liquid. Its unique properties are ideal for cleaning and decellularizing tissue without altering its structure.

NervAlign Nerve Cuff processed using eCOO® method

Typical porcine small intestine submucosal (SIS) tissue

Yields a collagen membrane that is clean and pliable while maintaining its native structure

Dark blue stain indicates residual contaminating native nuclei

Emerging Clinical Data

Recent real-world data presented at ACFAS 2025 shows the potential benefits of the NervAlign Nerve Cuff in clinical practice.2

Average follow-up time was 9.25 months after Nerve Cuff application. Pain scores measured using Visual Analogue Scale.

Indications for Use

The NervAlign Nerve Cuff is indicated for the repair of peripheral nerves where there is no gap, or where gap closure is achieved by flexion of the extremity
